If you would like to increase your engine's longevity and produce more horsepower this product is a must have. Testing on our in house Dynojet dynamometer we have discovered motorcycles produce the most horsepower at between 180 to 190 degrees coolant temperature. The problem is the cooling fan on the radiator is not switched on until 220 to 225 degrees which is not optimum for making power. Since the ECU monitors the coolant temperature as the temperature increases the ECU begins to retard the ignition timing. This retarding of the ignition timing results in a significant reduction in horsepower. The solution to this problem is our Programmable Fan Controller (PFC) which allows you to set the temperature when the cooling fan comes on and goes off. Programming the PFC only needs to be done once and is very simple operation. If at any time you wish to change the fan turn on/off set point all you need to do is reprogram the PFC . We offer a one year warranty for this product which means that if it should fail during that period we will replace it free of charge. When making your purchase please leave us a note indicating what model and year bike you are going to install this unit on. The reason we need this information from you is so that way we can properly configure the PFC and enclose the correct instruction sheet for your application.
