Fuel Injector Flow Matching
With all the products and modifications that are available today to enhance the performance of today's sport bikes, it's amazing how the fuel injectors are generally overlooked. If all the cylinders do not receive exactly the same amount of fuel the engine will not respond properly to throttle changes or produce maximum horsepower. Because of all the additives in gasoline the injectors will begin to clog up over time. Another problem which sometimes occurs in fuel injectors is a sticky plunger, which will cause a rich condition in that cylinder due to fuel leakage. For this reason we have found that fuel injector flow matching is a very necessary part of the performance equation. As part of the injector flow matching service we will send back with the injectors a flow print out sheet of your injectors before and after for comparison. We remove the filter screen in the injector and back flush them via a ultrasonic cleaning process. You simply cannot achieve these results just adding fuel injector cleaner. Typically we will achieve better than 2% flow matching between injectors. The usual horsepower improvement you can expect is from 2-7 horsepower gain along with much improved throttle response.
